VolunteersThere is nothing greater than seeing a smile on your child's face when they see you on campus volunteering. For student’s safety, all visitors are required to check-in at the office and receive a badge prior to visiting the classroom or playground. You need a badge each day you visit, no matter how frequently you plan to be on campus or how short your visit may be. Please get a badge on Wednesday before helping with Psychomotor, Computer Lab, or Library. Thanks for helping us have a safe campus for all our students. To start the volunteer process, go to http://www.srvusd.net/volunteers and click the link on the page that says "To begin the application process, click here". Birthday CelebrationsWe love celebrating your child on his/her special day! We celebrate by singing happy birthday and presenting your child with a birthday crown and small birthday token. If you choose, you may send in a special treat with your child to share with the class for the day’s celebration. This “treat” should not need be edible. Due to family food preferences and allergies TK and Kindergarten classes will NOT serve edible Birthday treats. You may however, send in a small prize like a pencil, stickers, eraser, etc.. Thanks for helping keep our kids safe. There are 26 students in our class. You may celebrate your child's birthday on their actual day or please let us know when you would like to. If your child has a summer birthday, we will honor them on towards the end of the year. |
